If your hotel property is environmentally friendly and you want to shout about it, then we have a solution for you!

We have now launched something called ‘The Green Hotels Programme’ and through this you can display your sustainability credentials in the booking flow.

How does it work? Hotels recognised as ‘green’ will now be easily identifiable to the more than 60,000 client partners of Hotelbeds and Bedsonline – including travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and points redemption schemes – via a new green filter, that will include details of certifications and offer tags.

This means that environmentally conscious travellers can identify that your property fits their sustainability needs and chose your hotel over those that don´t.

To certify properties as sustainable, Hotelbeds has partnered with global sustainability certification companies to identify fully certified hotel properties following the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for hotels.

The criteria are organized around four main themes: effective sustainability planning, maximizing social and economic benefits for the local community, enhancing cultural heritage, and reducing negative impacts on the environment.
